P.S.

P.S. Is it ok to include my teacher in my lessons? I didn't think it was, but if I can use her, then I think I would like to! Do you think that would make her think I'm less of a planner or not as competent? (maybe that's not really a big deal) Maybe after I have the kids fully for a week, then they will not be as confused as to who is in "charge" (so to speak).

  1. Olivia,

You most definitely can use your teacher. You should do the planning but make it a win-win situation for your students. Make sure she would be comfortable helping you (and you can share I recommended it). I just wonder if we can keep her connected it may help everyone. You don't have to use her all the time but as you see it would benefit both the students and her. I look at it as managing the adults in your classroom. What if you have instructional assistants in your future class?? You need to know how to use them. I'll leave this up to you...it is only an idea.
